Borders by Thomas kinger (canada)

The story border is about a women and a child trying to cross the american border to see their sister, and daughter. When they get to the anerican border the mother of the children does not want to say the nationality, instead she says their ethinicity as this continues she driving back and forth between the american and canadian borders she will not say heer nationality. well this creates drama and theyv are sent to this big building for information and are forced to sleep in between borders. shortly after the media is ivoled and... read the short story to find the ending.

To me i believe that ethnicity is more inportant becxause it describnes you and not what you are.
Being called by your ethnicity is a privilage it tells people what you are and who you are. although it cause problems such and racism but ity worth the cost to know what and what kind of background you have.
If you you are called by your nationality to me that would an insult because anyone is that nationality someone could leave and never come back and that would be there nationality. If it was my choice your nationality would tell you where your from not your background or your past history wioth your ethinicitys or ethnic group.
